Dr. Elaine Mau has years of experience in reconstruction surgery, trauma, and sports medicine. Her subspecialty interest is in shoulder surgery including replacement and arthroscopic procedures, including rotator cuff surgery.
Dr. Mau was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). She received her MD degree from the University of Connecticut and did her residency at the University of Toronto. She did her fellowship in shoulder surgery at NYU Hospital for joint diseases.
Dr. Mau specializes in procedures such as:
