Our trained and caring staff in our Out Patient Infusion Clinic provide the following services: Intravenous medication administration or intravenous fluid therapy may be required following a patient hospital stay or as a prolonged treatment of a chronic condition such as cancer, kidney disease, blood disorders, autoimmune disorders, anemia, electrolyte imbalances, neurologic disorders, immune disorders, and vitamin deficiency. That’s when a specialty infusion therapy department steps in to continue care. Our pharmacy provides the medication requested by your physician. Then a registered nurse administers the IV to the patient.

A physician’s referral is necessary to begin receiving services. A nurse then works with the physician, patient and his/her family to identify needs and outline a course of treatment which could be a one time treatment or a series of treatments.
