Welcome to the Down East Community Hospital Skylight Café!

Breakfast

The café is open from 7:30 am until 10:45 am for a self-service continental breakfast. We operate on the honor system during this time so, unless you would like assistance, you are able to make your own breakfast and your own change. While you won’t see anyone at the cash register, help is never far away ~ feel free to pick up the phone and dial extension 232 at any time or, just give a friendly holler.

Lunch

Joining us for Lunch today? We’ll be serving the Daily Special and Daily Soup – always posted by the cash register – but they go fast so pre-orders are recommended You’ll also find something for everyone on our menu of tasty Hot Dishes along with the Spectacular Salad & Sandwich Bar. The dessert of the day is always a sweet surprise.

Anytime

Hot and Cold beverage vending machines and a snack machine are available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. You are welcome to sit in the café anytime you’d like, day or night.
