The
Infection Prevention Department at Down East Community Hospital has moved to a preventative based focus aimed to provide a healthy and safe environment for our patients.
Our patients, families, and community are our priority and we strive to improve their overall health status thru educational offerings, yearly flu clinics, and yearly health fairs.
We also provide on-going employee education, and employee
immunizations to ensure patient and employee safety by reducing risks of
infection and related outcomes.
